House Meal Plans

House Meal Plans are limited to residents of Alice Cook House, Carl Becker House, Hans Bethe House, William Keeton House and Flora Rose House. In the house system upper-level students are not only part of an actively engaged living and learning community, under faculty leadership, but also enjoy the comforts of having their own dining room right where they live. Students living in the House System are required to enroll in one of the Cornell Dining meal plans designated specifically for the House System buildings. You will be automatically enrolled in the House Traditional Plan if you have signed a housing contract but you have not selected a house meal plan.

Meal Plans for 2009-2010

House Golden - $2,550 per semester
$500 in Big Red Bucks (BRBs); unlimited access to meals during designated service periods within the West Campus House System; 50 meals per semester that can be used in any of the other all you care to eat dining halls on campus (additional charges apply for Shabbat, holiday, and special meals in 104West!); 4 bonus meals (for guests) per semester.

House Traditional - $2,450 per semester
$400 in Big Red Bucks (BRBs); unlimited access to meals during designated service periods within the West Campus House System; 50 meals per semester that can be used in any of the other all you care to eat dining halls on campus (additional charges apply for Shabbat, holiday, and special meals in 104West!); 4 bonus meals (for guests) per semester.

House Choice - $2,350 per semester
$300 in Big Red Bucks (BRBs); unlimited access to meals during designated service periods within the West Campus House System; 50 meals per semester that can be used in any of the other all you care to eat dining halls on campus (additional charges apply for Shabbat, holiday, and special meals in 104West!); 4 bonus meals (for guests) per semester.

House Affiliate - $485 per semester
$100 in Big Red Bucks (BRBs); 3 meals per week at any House System dining unit. Open to off-campus students who lived in the House System for at least one semester. A nonrefundable $50 administrative fee will be charged upon enrollment. Use the application form to apply.

Students residing in the West Campus House System who observe kosher dietary regulations may arrange for kosher dinners through their House administrative office. Double wrapped dinners are delivered to the House by 104West! for students who made requests and these meals can be reheated in a reserved microwave in the House pantry. For all House dinners on Wednesdays, 104West! delivers hot meals upon request. Students observing kosher regulations may also use the out of House meals associated with the House meal plan to dine at 104West!. The number of out of House meals per term usually allows for dining on Shabbat and the holidays.
